![]() Often thought to be the grand uncle from the Greenwich Town coffeehouse picture, the self-effacing Vehicle Ronk, an interesting intellectual and voracious audience, could have been the first ever to let you know that there have been others, like Odetta, who have been around the Town before him. He required his motivation from blues and folk vocalist Odetta, who motivated the then vendor seaman to try out the traditional jazz music that he was therefore keenly thinking about. Blessed June 30, 1936, in Brooklyn and elevated there, Vehicle Ronk never finished senior high school, and remaining house for Greenwich Town, a few kilometers aside, in his past due teens. ![]() Rather, Truck Ronk’s genius was produced from his perfect execution and rearranging of traditional acoustic blues music.
